Why You Should Buy the Galaxy Buds

I am a true believer in wired headphones. However, when I first used the Galaxy Buds, they changed everything. I love headphones and speakers and am very picky about the types of headphones I get. Beat by Dre and Apple’s AirPods don’t cut it for me; They don’t sound clear enough. Because of this, I am also very picky about the types of phones I buy; they absolutely have to have a 3.5mm jack, but now I may leave that mentality. And it’s all thanks to Galaxy Buds.

I got the Galaxy Buds used from a friend for around $70 and I have to say it was worth every penny. The Galaxy Buds have me listening to Podcasts and audiobooks more and increasing my productivity. I hardly notice I have earbuds in and they leave me free from the chains of the wire. Here’s why they are some of the best earbuds you can get today:

Portability

One of the biggest features of any true wireless earbuds is how portable they are. The galaxy buds fit in a case smaller than your fist and fit comfortably in your pocket. This makes them perfect for an on-the-go experience. It’s magical to start listening to your music, an audiobook, or a podcast when you are on the run. No matter where I am, it is never a hassle to pull these out and start using them. It has become easier than ever before to carry headphones with me. With the Galaxy Buds, no more are the days of pulling out tangled headphones just to give up because the moment to listen has passed.

Freedom and Comfort

There is something freeing about going wireless. You have mobility and comfort you didn’t have before. There are times that you will forget that the Galaxy Buds are even in your ears even when you are listening to music. Despite having better-sounding headphones and earbuds, I keep finding myself drawn to these. If I want to get a drink or a snack while I’m listening to music then the process is seamless and comfortable.

Laying down in bed and listening to music has never been more comfortable than with these earbuds. Especially after waking up from a nap, I no longer have wire marks on my face or neck. The Galaxy Buds also come with customizable ear tip sizes. When I first used AirPods they would always fall out of my ears, however, with the Galaxy Buds, I can even use my own custom ear tips with these earbuds. The Galaxy Buds give you the ability to customize them to YOUR EAR. I personally don’t even use the ear tips that came with the Galaxy Buds.

Platform Agnostic

The Galaxy Buds have no problem switching from your phone to your computer and even to apple devices. It’s quick and easy because the Galaxy Buds act like a normal Bluetooth headset and don’t try to be anything else. Having tried to connect AirPods to my android phone and only have problems, it is refreshing to see that Samsung chose to make this easy no matter what phone you choose to use.

It is also super easy to switch from your phone to your computer. Being able to go from a call on my Galaxy Buds and then proceed to connect to my computer after it is done makes these earbuds a powerful tool for productivity as well.

Multitasking

Using these at work and while washing clothes is a place where the Galaxy Buds really shine. There are a lot of monotonous tasks that you could listen to a podcast, an audiobook, or music during. The biggest thing that kept me from doing this was the wire from my headphones getting in the way. The Galaxy Buds have changed this for me and allowed me to even make calls during these monotonous tasks. The Galaxy Buds have become a tool that makes me more productive.

Charge

The Galaxy Buds have a long battery life. Each earbud has a battery life of around 7 hours and then can be charged again by the charging case. This makes them perfect for long listening sessions and use. I have never had the earbuds die on me and I use them a lot throughout the day whenever I do use them.

Gestures

The Galaxy Buds also come with tap gestures that allow you to adjust volume, pause, and start whatever audio is playing. This is great for when you are working and quickly need to stop what is playing to listen to something outside of the earbuds. They also automatically pause whatever is playing when you pull the galaxy buds out of your ears.

Audio Quality

As a self-proclaimed “audiophile,” I can gladly say that the audio quality of the galaxy buds is passable. This may sound like a strange compliment however you are talking to someone who thinks that AirPods and beats sound like garbage.

The bass is punchy and clear and is one of the best parts of the sound signature. Drums sounded especially good with the Galaxy Buds and I would say is the major thing that popped when listening to these headphones. The mids are where the Galaxy Buds really shine. They are clear and crisp and sound amazing for Bluetooth earbuds. The treble is a little quieter and can be drowned out by the bass, however, I personally love loud and clear treble. These headphones sound amazing for the form factor and price. On top of the great sound, they are true wireless as well.

Whether you are listening to music, a podcast, or an audiobook, the Galaxy Buds provide freedom and comfortability without compromising on sound quality. I keep finding myself grabbing these earbuds out from my collection and listening to them regularly. They have definitely earned a spot in my life, what about you? Will you finally break free from the chains of wired headphones and go truly wireless with the Galaxy Buds?
